Retail Store Associate (Offshore)

Job Summary:

Office Depot is seeking energetic and customer-focused individuals for the role of Part-Time Retail Store Associate. This entry-level position is essential to delivering a memorable shopping experience by engaging with customers, promoting products and services, and supporting store operations. Responsibilities:

• Customer Engagement:Greet and interact with customers in a friendly, helpful manner
• Identify customer needs and recommend suitable products or services
• Promote store loyalty programs, sales, and ongoing promotions
• Sales & Product Knowledge:
• Participate in training on print, tech, and other retail categories
• Apply selling techniques to guide customers to the right solutions
• Stay informed on new products and services
• Store Operations:Maintain store cleanliness and organization
• Assist in stocking and organizing merchandise per visual standards
• Follow company guidelines for labeling, signage, and product placement
• Support freight processing, scanning inventory, and replenishing low-stock items
• Team & Compliance:Collaborate with team members to meet store goals
• Follow company policies, including safety and loss prevention procedures
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management

Qualifications and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• No prior experience required; retail experience is a plus
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with POS systems
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic math
• Client-focused with a passion for service and learning
• Willingness to develop skills in print and technology services

Salary:

• $14.00 – $17.71 per hour, depending on location, experience, and local minimum wage laws. Eligible for incentive compensation based on store performance and individual contribution.
