Bulk Deli Cheese Clerk

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Bulk Deli Cheese Clerk to join our Store 058 Dallas Spring Valley team. In this role, you will assist customers, replenish product displays, and maintain cleanliness in the Bulk Deli section. Your focus will be on delivering excellent customer service while ensuring our cheese and deli displays are well-stocked and organized.

Responsibilities:

• Provide friendly, courteous, and helpful service to customers
• Assist customers with product selection and inquiries
• Clean, fill, and rotate cheese and deli displays as directed
• Replenish products according to the Bulk Deli Manager or Assistant Bulk Deli Manager’s instructions
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the shift
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift up to 45 pounds, and occasionally lift up to 60 pounds
• Adhere to food handling safety standards (Food Handler Card or equivalent certification required)

Qualifications and Experience:

• Ability to read and write in both Spanish and English
• Able to interact with customers, co-workers, and the general public
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, pricing codes, and memos
• Ability to write simple correspondence
• Strong communication skills for presenting information in small group or one-on-one situations
• Common sense understanding to carry out detailed instructions
• Must be able to perform physical tasks such as lifting, standing, walking, kneeling, etc.
• A Food Handler Card or equivalent certification is required. Bonus Skills (preferred but not required):
• Basic PC/Outlook skills. Retail Management Certificate

Salary:

Starting rate: $14.00 per hour
