Warehouse Order Selector

Job Summary:

Americold is hiring immediately for a Warehouse Order Selector at our 44 Cornelia Street facility. In this essential role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting and preparing orders using powered industrial equipment. Responsibilities:

• Accurately select and prepare orders from warehouse inventory
• Operate electric pallet jacks to retrieve and move pallets
• Use voice headset technology to identify item locations and quantities
• Wrap pallets securely and apply shipping labels as required
• Ensure proper handling and cold storage of all products
• Maintain inventory accuracy through diligent tracking and documentation
• Adhere to all safety procedures and warehouse best practices
• Perform other warehouse duties as assigned by supervisors

Qualifications and Experience:

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Previous warehouse, order selection, or forklift operation experience is a plus
• Comfortable working in cold storage environments
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
• Strong communication skills and ability to follow voice-pick systems
• Certified or willing to become certified to operate warehouse equipment

Salary:

• $18.00 – $21.00 per hour, based on experience, shift, and qualifications
