Job Summary:

Office Depot is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Part-Time Retail Store Associate. In this role, you'll help create a welcoming, customer-first environment while driving sales and supporting operational goals. You’ll be trained in key service areas, including Print and Technology, enabling you to guide customers to the best solutions. Responsibilities:

• Customer Engagement
• Welcome and assist customers in a friendly, knowledgeable manner
• Recommend appropriate products and services to meet customer needs
• Promote current sales, promotions, and loyalty programs
• Store Operations
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked store and print area
• Follow visual merchandising and signage guidelines
• Sort and stock inventory following company protocols
• Monitor and replenish inventory for out-of-stock or low-stock items
• Print & Tech Services
• Complete training in Print and Technology categories
• Continue learning to stay current with certifications and product knowledge
• Support customer requests in print and tech with confidence and accuracy
• Sales Support & Compliance
• Apply selling strategies to maximize the customer experience
• Follow company policies, procedures, and loss prevention guidelines
• Take on additional tasks and responsibilities as needed

Qualifications and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• No previous experience required
• Basic computer and technology skills required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to read, write, and do basic math for inventory and documentation
• Enthusiastic, customer-oriented, and eager to learn

Salary:

Starting range: $14.00 – $17.71 per hour, based on location and experience. Eligible for additional incentive pay through the Retail Store Hourly Non-Management Incentive Plan.
