Job Summary:

Spencer’s is seeking a motivated and energetic Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in all aspects of daily store operations. This role is vital in delivering outstanding guest service, maximizing sales and profitability, managing inventory, and maintaining visual merchandising standards. The Assistant Store Manager plays a key role in leading and developing store staff while ensuring adherence to all company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional guest service and ensure a welcoming store environment.

• Assist the Store Manager in achieving sales goals and profitability targets.

• Train, coach, and develop store associates to enhance performance and engagement.

• Control expenses and minimize shrink through effective inventory management.

• Oversee visual merchandising and ensure stock levels are maintained.

• Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Minimum age requirement: 18 years old

• Prior retail and/or management experience required

• Ability to stand, walk, climb ladders, and lift up to 50 pounds for extended periods (8+ hours)
