Data Architect

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Integration Architect to join our team in a hybrid role based in McKinney, TX. This individual will serve as the primary technical lead for strategic integration projects across the organization. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in B2B business or distribution and excels at architecting and implementing scalable, reliable, and efficient data integration solutions that align with our enterprise strategy.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement data integration strategies, pipelines, and models with a focus on quality, reliability, and governance
• Architect and deliver end-to-end data integration solutions to enable seamless and secure data flow across systems
• Serve as the main technical point of contact for enterprise-level integration projects
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand business needs and deliver technical solutions
• Leverage expertise in B2B and distribution industry standards to optimize data strategies
• Establish and promote ETL/ELT best practices and data integration methodologies
• Contribute to the corporate data strategy and DevOps/Agile adoption
• Diagnose and resolve data issues to ensure minimal operational disruption
• Document data architecture, processes, and workflows for clarity and sustainability

Qualifications and Experience:

• Education:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Experience:10+ years in data integration architecture and implementation (B2B/distribution industry preferred)
• Deep experience with Snowflake, SQL Server, and data warehousing projects
• 5+ years in cloud engineering (Azure and/or AWS)
• Proven experience integrating ERP systems and supporting real-time data APIs
• Proficiency with CI/CD pipeline automation (e.g., Azure DevOps)
• Strong leadership and team mentoring experience
• Technical Expertise:Cloud architecture (infrastructure, networking, security)
• Real-time data streaming and component service architecture
• Azure Functions, Snowflake, Data Lakes, and big data integration tools
• Soft Skills:Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting ability
• Creative problem-solving mindset
• Adaptability to fast-paced and evolving business environments
