Operations Coordinator

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Warehouse Operations Manager to oversee daily operations at our facility. This individual will supervise the warehouse and driver staff, ensure excellent customer service, and support branch leadership in maintaining inventory levels and day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate leadership skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing superior customer service while ensuring smooth warehouse operations.

Responsibilities:

• Customer Service:Handle incoming customer complaints professionally and promptly
• Own and resolve issues, ensuring that deliveries and warehouse personnel meet customer needs
• Provide excellent customer service through clear and professional communication
• Inventory and Management Operations:Oversee daily warehouse operations ensuring timely and accurate pulling of work orders
• Manage the loading and unloading of orders for vendors and customers
• Ensure trucks are dispatched for timely and accurate delivery to worksites
• Assist with forklift operations in loading/unloading trucks
• Track and report on inventory levels using Agility software
• Coordinate with Branch Manager for material purchases to avoid duplicate orders
• Manage all phases of inventory control including purchasing, weekly cycle counts, pricing, and handling damaged or outdated stock
• Perform other duties such as order processing, balancing day-end reports, and assisting with branch operations

Qualifications and Experience:

• Education and Experience:1-2 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Skills and Knowledge:Integrity in maintaining organizational norms and attention to detail
• Ability to take initiative and demonstrate practical learning
• Tolerance for stress and strong customer service orientation
• Excellent judgment for problem-solving and decision-making
• Ability to multi-task and handle requests efficiently
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Licenses and Certifications:
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Language and Communication Skills:
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business documents
• Strong writing and verbal communication skills to interact with various stakeholders
• Mathematical and Computer Skills:
• Ability to calculate and analyze numbers (discounts, commissions, percentages, etc.)
• Basic understanding of Microsoft Office products and general computer skills

Salary:

The base salary for this position typically ranges from $23.51 to $29.90 per hour, depending on experience, skills, and qualifications.
