Job Duties and Responsibilities of Retail General Manager:

• Aim for outstanding customer care, display of products, positioning of merchandise, store design, and sales strategies.
• Supervise sales performance and profitability targets by minimizing expenses and effectively handling stock levels.
• Employ, instruct, guide, and appraise personnel effectiveness in constructing a top-notch group.
• Manage staff schedules efficiently to ensure all operational demands are met with sufficient coverage.
• Stay in line with safety guidelines, health regulations, and labor laws mandated by federal and state governments.
• Responsible for administrative functions, which include processing personnel paperwork, compiling reports, and tracking cash transactions and sales receipts.
