Job Duties and Responsibilities of Sales Executive:

  • Establish opportunities for new clients, nurture relationships with current customers, and diminish lost revenue to attain profitable sales increase within defined territory.
  • Discover and validate prospects in line with Sysco’s account stratification objectives.
  • Analyze the business needs of clients and provide suggestions on products and services that align with those needs.
  • Keep yourself well-versed in market conditions, product innovations, and the products, pricing, and sales practices of competitors.
  • Offer product information and training programs for customer personnel.
  • Travel to customer appointments, conferences, and company events in personal vehicle.
  • Handle the retrieval of outstanding receivables through communication.
  • Direct the delivery process and troubleshoot any complications that may arise in the course of fulfilling orders.
  • Join in Sysco functions, promotions, and activities organized for customers.
  • Do not miss out on attending both general sales and district meetings.

Qualifications and Experience of Sales Executive:

  • Qualifications for this role include a degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Hospitality, Culinary Arts, or a related field. Alternatively, candidates without a degree can fulfill the requirements with a High School Diploma or GED and three years of experience in Restaurant Management, Business-to-Business sales, or external sales.
  • Bilingual competency coupled with experience in overseeing restaurant operations, participating in sales activities for food service outside of the ordinary, or working as a chef.
  • It is essential to have a valid driver’s license and a clear driving history, as well as current automobile insurance.
  • It is essential for applicants to undergo pre-employment testing, including drug screenings and background checks, while also agreeing to comply with the terms outlined in the Sysco Protective Covenants Agreement.
  • Primary computer aptitude, skillful in MS Office functions, and proficient in English written and verbal communication.
